Bradenton, FL (March 18, 2020) – Yesterday morning, March 17, a worker was killed in a fatal workplace accident that took place on Sandpiper Circle in Bradenton.

The accident took place in the Perico Bay Club. The worker was identified as a long-time employee who worked with the Bradenton Public Works and Utilities Department.

Though few details have been released regarding the incident, it is believed that it involved a solid waste front-end loader.

Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the employee. The accident remains under investigation.
