Dade City, FL (February 12, 2020) – The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal head-on collision on FL-35 in Dade City.
The accident happened yesterday morning around 6 a.m. The driver of a Toyota Camry was attempting to pass a Silverado when his vehicle collided head-on with a truck for reasons that are not yet known.
The 24-year-old driver of the Toyota, identified as a male from Winter Garden, tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No further details have been released but the investigation is ongoing.
