Dade City, FL – Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Old Lakeland Hwy

Dade City, FL (January 21, 2020) – Pasco County officials responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident at the Old Lakeland Highway and US-98 in Dade City on January 20th.

Police confirmed that the collision took place when a 27-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle while on a motorcycle.

The crash occurred around 5:56 p.m. when the woman was turning her Kawasaki Ninja onto Old Lakeland Highway and entered into the path of a 2003 Ford F-150 headed southbound. The Ford struck the left side of the motorcycle.

Police confirmed that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The other driver received minor injuries but was not hospitalized.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
