Gandy, FL (December 12, 2019) – Around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, Tampa Police responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on a major roadway in Gandy.

Police claim that the accident took place on the Howard Frankland Bridge in the southbound lanes of traffic. Police claim that all lanes were closed down for some period of time due to the collision.

Various emergency responders were present at the scene including law enforcement officials, fire crews, and paramedics. Paramedics assisted injured victims, though the extent of these injuries is not yet known.
