Grady, FL (December 13, 2019) – Hillsborough County authorities responded to the scene of a fatal accident on the Howard Frankland Bridge in Grady on Thursday, December 12th.
Police claim that the accident took place around 6 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the roadway. At the time, a 54-year-old man from Pinellas Park was driving his Toyota Tacoma on the bridge, when he switched lanes and collided with a Ford Raptor. The Raptor was being driven by a 53-year-old man.
The Toyota overturned immediately following the impact. Police say that the 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
