Largo, FL (January 13, 2020) – On January 12th, a fatal motorcycle accident took place at the intersection of Ulmerton Road and Coray Way in Largo.
The accident occurred around 3:33 a.m. when a motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the intersection. Through a police investigation, it was found that a 48-year-old woman stopped at the stop sign and then turned into the path of the Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was identified as a 55-year-old man from Largo. He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle was cited for a stop sign violation.
The investigation into the accident is currently ongoing.
