New Port Richey, FL (April 3, 2020) – Around 4:30 p.m. last afternoon, April 2, a car accident with injuries took place at a local intersection.
Police in New Port Richey were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision, which took place at the intersection of East Lake Road and Trinity Boulevard.
It is believed that two vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not yet known. There were extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics were immediately called to the scene of the collision where they assisted those with injuries. It is not known if the victims were hospitalized or not.
The northbound lanes of traffic were closed down for a period of time after the accident.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
