New Port Richey, FL (December 12, 2019) – Pasco County officials and the Florida Highway Patrol investigated the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in New Port Richey recently. Now, police have identified the parties who lost their lives in the collision.
The accident took place when a pickup truck drove in the path of a motorcycle on Friday. At the time, a 54-year-old man from New Port Richey was driving his Dodge Ram south on Seven Springs Boulevard when he made a turn that resulted in the crash.
The motorcycle and the Dodge collided. The motorcyclist was identified as a 20-year-old man from Dunedin and his passenger was identified as a 20-year-old woman from Land O’ Lakes. They were both taken to the hospital and tragically died while there.
Police claim that charges are pending at this time. Their investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
