Palm Harbor, FL (February 3, 2020) – Around 11:37 p.m. on February 1st, two men and a woman were killed in a fatal hit-and-run crash at the intersection of US-19 and Tampa Road.
A 2013 Buick Lacrosse Buick ran a red light and ran into a 2010 Nissan Versa being driven by a 65-year-old man at the intersection. The driver and one of the passengers in the Nissan were thrown from the vehicle. The second passenger was partially ejected.
The driver of the Buick and one of its passengers got out on foot and fled the scene.
The 65-year-old man, a 49-year-old female passenger, and an 18-year-old female passenger in the Missan all died at the scene of the collision.
Police are working on their investigation into the accident.
