Palmetto, FL (April 7, 2020) – Around 9:30 a.m. this morning, Manatee County authorities responded to the scene of a serious car accident in Palmetto.
Though few details are known regarding the accident, police confirmed that multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of US-41 around the area of Palm View Road.
Numerous emergency responders, including fire crews and paramedics, were prompted to the scene of the accident. They assisted those with injuries, though the full extent of the injuries are not yet known.
All lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time following the collision.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
