Plant City, FL – 2 Injured in Rollover Accident on FL-400

Plant City, FL (April 28, 2020) – Hillsborough County authorities responded to the scene of a rollover accident on FL-400 in Plant City.

The accident happened around 12:50 a.m. on April 25 on FL-400 around the area of Branch Forbes Road. A 33-year-old man was allegedly driving his pickup truck west on the highway when he moved from the center lane to the outside lane, which is where his vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer.

The pickup truck forcefully traveled into the median and collided with a guardrail, where it then flipped over several times.

The 33-year-old man and his 45-year-old female passenger were seriously injured in the accident. They were both hospitalized. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

The investigation into the collision is currently ongoing.
