Plant City, FL (June 9, 2021) – On Wednesday, June 9, a hit-and-run accident in the Plant City area left a Zephyrhills man with critical injuries.
Local sources indicated that the crash took place on Interstate 4 near Exit 19 at Thonotosassa Road. A 46-year-old Zephyrhills man was driving a blue 2003 Infiniti westbound on the interstate when he was involved in a crash with another vehicle. The other car was described as a white SUV or pickup truck.
Both vehicles were pushed onto the shoulder, and the Infiniti overturned. The Zephyrhills man was ejected in the impact, and he was transported to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the other car fled the scene.
