Sarasota, FL (December 3, 2019) – Around 4:30 a.m. this morning, Sarasota Police responded to the scene of a 3-vehicle collision involving a sedan, SUV, and a Jeep.

Police have not commented on the circumstances leading up to the chain-reaction collision but said that one eastbound lane of traffic was blocked for an hour or less as police worked to clear the scene.

All parties were able to get out of their vehicles after the crash. Paramedics were called to assist one or more parties at the scene.

Few details are known at this time but police continue to investigate the collision in full.
