Sarasota, FL (December 5, 2019) – At 9 a.m. this morning, a three-vehicle collision took place on US-41 that led to delays and injuries in Sarasota.
The accident took several hours to clear due to the severity of the collision and the debris left on the roadway. The crash blocked one southbound lane of traffic for an extended period of time.
Sarasota County Deputies, fire crews, and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident. They discovered that a chain-reaction collision had taken place between an SUV, a pickup truck, and a red sedan. The sedan was left with severe front-end damages.
It has been reported that there were injuries due to the collision but police have not confirmed the extent of those injuries.
