Sarasota, FL (January 9, 2020) – Around 6:30 a.m. this morning, Sarasota authorities were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on FL-93.

According to police, the accident involved multiple vehicles. One of the vehicles involved was a blue sedan with extensive damage to the front end and side of the vehicle.

Debris was scattered all over the roadway and emergency responders closed down a portion of the road so that they could clear and investigate the scene.

Paramedics assisted at the scene of the accident. It is not known how many were injured due to the collision.

There were extensive delays in the area for a period of time. Police continue their investigation into the accident.
