Seminole, FL (December 9, 2019) – On Saturday, a fatal pedestrian accident took place at the intersection of Burning Tree Drive and Pinehurst Drive in Seminole.
Officials claim that the pedestrian was struck by a 17-year-old driver who was making a turn at the intersection. The 66-year-old pedestrian was in the roadway when he was forcefully struck by the right front bumper of the teenager’s car.
Police claim that the intersection was not well lit.
The pedestrian was immediately transported to St. Petersburg General Hospital immediately following the collision but has since passed away.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
