Spring Hill, FL (February 18, 2020) – Around 1:15 a.m. this morning, the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident at a Spring Hill intersection.

The crash allegedly took place at the intersection of State Road 52 and Davis Lane, according to police.

At the time, a 40-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on the roadway when her vehicle collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra for unknown reasons.

The woman allegedly passed away at the scene of the accident. The driver of the Tundra suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The roadway was closed down at the intersection for several hours. At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
