St. Petersburg, FL (November 17, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, a car accident with injuries occurred at a St. Petersburg intersection.
The accident took place at the intersection of 38th Avenue and 49th Street when two vehicles collided with one another. Police have not yet commented on the circumstances leading up to the accident. The accident led to severe damages to the vehicles involved.
Fire crews worked to free one occupant from one of the vehicles. Paramedics transported one or more victims to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was closed in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
