St. Petersburg, FL (February 18, 2020) – Tampa Police responded to the scene of a car accident at a St. Petersburg intersection that led to injuries.
According to authorities, the collision took place this morning around 6 a.m. when two vehicles collided forcefully at the intersection of 9th Street and 26th Avenue.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances of the collision but it is believed that victims sustained injuries. Paramedics were present and assisting those at the scene.
There were extensive delays in the area due to the severity of the accident.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
