St. Petersburg, FL (December 2, 2020) – Around 9:49 p.m. on Tuesday night, December 1, a car crash with injuries took place in St. Petersburg.
Pinellas County officials confirmed that the crash took place at the intersection of 28th Street and 2nd Avenue when two or more vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result of the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
