St. Petersburg, FL (October 21, 2020) – On Wednesday, October 21, a pedestrian crash took place at an intersection in St. Petersburg.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, the collision took place at the intersection of Dr. MLK Jr. Street and 22nd Avenue. A pedestrian was crossing the street at the intersection when they were struck by a passenger vehicle.
It is believed that the pedestrian was the only person injured as a result of the accident. They were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries but their condition is not yet known.
The intersection was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
No other information has been released but the investigation continues.
