Tampa, FL (January 22, 2020) – This morning around 8:30 a.m., Tampa Police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision with injuries on I-275 in the northbound lanes.
The collision, according to police, took place in the area of 22nd Avenue North and involved a black sedan and black pickup truck. Photographs at the scene of the accident showed fire crews assisting victims inside the pickup truck.
Though few details are known regarding the accident, paramedics assisted those with injuries. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.
There were extensive delays in the morning throughout the morning.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
