Tampa, FL (February 26, 2020) – Yesterday, February 25, a two-year-old child was injured in a dump truck crash involving two other vehicles on East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa.
The Tampa Police Department confirmed that one of the vehicles caught on fire after a dump truck crossed over the median, where it struck an SUV and a passenger vehicle.
A total of four victims were taken to the hospital with injuries. The child was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.
Police did not confirm what circumstances led to the accident. However, their investigation is ongoing.
