Tampa, FL (May 19, 2020) – Around 1:20 p.m. this afternoon, police responded to the scene of a car accident at a Tampa intersection.
The accident, according to police, took place at the intersection of Causeway Boulevard and Maydell Drive when two vehicles collided with one another for reasons that are not yet known.
Numerous responders, including paramedics, were present at the scene of the accident. EMS crews helped those with injuries, though it is not yet known how many were hospitalized as a result.
The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation is currently ongoing.
