Tampa, FL (March 27, 2020) – Around 6:47 a.m. this morning, Hillsborough County authorities responded to a car accident on a major highway.

According to police, the accident took place in the westbound lanes of I-4 around the area of I-275.

Paramedics assisted those with injuries. There were numerous emergency responders present at the scene of the accident.

The crash took place on the right shoulder and there were extensive delays on the highway for a period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation is ongoing.
