Tampa, FL (December 4, 2019) – At 6 a.m. this morning, police responded to a chain-reaction collision with injuries that took place on I-275 in Tampa.
The accident, according to police, took place in the southbound lanes of the highway around the area of 38th Avenue. Police immediately issued a roadblock in the area due to the severity of the damages.
At least four vehicles were involved in the accident that took place when multiple vehicles collided with one another on the highway for unknown reasons.
Law enforcement officials, fire crews, and one EMS vehicle were present at the scene. Paramedics assisted injured victims, though the exact amount of victims is not yet known.
The investigation of the accident is currently ongoing.
