Tampa, FL (January 27, 2020) – Early this morning, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of US-41 and Old US-41 in Tampa, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident took place when a driver of a 2019 Toyota struck a pedestrian at the intersection. The pedestrian was identified as a 29-year-old male.
The pedestrian passed away from his injuries following the collision. The driver, a 49-year-old man from Tampa, stayed at the scene of the accident and cooperated with authorities.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
