Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Pedestrian Accidents in Tampa Florida

4.6 Tampa, FL - Multiple Injuries After Car Hits Disabled Vehicle on I-275When drivers pull over onto the side of a busy highway, they become a target for reckless drivers. Pedestrian accidents run rampant on Florida highways, and the resulting injuries are often severe. Statistics show that pedestrians are almost 1.5 times more likely to suffer fatal injuries in a vehicle collision. In 2017, a pedestrian was killed every 88 minutes on average, with a total of 5,977 pedestrian fatalities occurring that year.

Pedestrians are at a serious disadvantage when involved in a crash with a motor vehicle and are more likely to suffer from life-threatening injuries. Unlike those traveling in passenger cars, pedestrians have little protection from the full impact of an accident, and the resulting injuries can be life-changing. Drivers are required to yield the right of way and share the road with pedestrians. A Florida pedestrian injury lawyer can help recover financial compensation for your injuries after being hit by a negligent driver.

Few people expect to be seriously injured in a Florida pedestrian accident, but thousands of pedestrians are injured across the state each year and require help to pursue legal compensation for their damages.
