Tampa, FL (December 2, 2019) – On Sunday morning, December 1, a woman was struck and killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Tampa.
Police claim that the 40-year-old woman was crossing the street in an unidentified area when she was suddenly struck by a vehicle. The vehicle quickly sped away from the scene of the accident without stopping.
The pedestrian was immediately taken to the hospital. However, while there, she tragically passed away from her injuries.
Police have reported that they believe the vehicle that struck her was a Chevrolet Trailblazer. They are still looking for the at-fault party.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
