Valrico, FL (February 12, 2020) – Around 10:30 p.m. last night, a fatal bicycle accident took place on FL-60 that led to the death of one victim.
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that a 36-year-old was headed east on the highway in his Ford truck when he went through an intersection at the same time as a bicyclist.
The bicyclist was identified as a 57-year-old from Valrico who was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital. He passed away while there.
Charges have not been filed against the truck driver at this time. The investigation into the accident continues.
