Zephyrhills, FL (November 27, 2019) – On Tuesday, November 26, a fatal crash took place at the intersection of SR-56 and Morris Bridge Road that led to the fatality of one person.

Pasco County authorities were called to the scene of the collision, where they found that one person was killed and one was seriously injured at the Zephyrhills accident.

The crash took place at 9:49 a.m. as a 27-year-old woman was driving her pickup truck on Morris Bridge Road and turned left onto SR-56. She turned during a flashing yellow light and struck a vehicle being driven by a 56-year-old woman. In that vehicle was an 82-year-old female passenger.

Police confirmed that the 82-year-old passenger died at the hospital following the collision. The 56-year-old driver was hospitalized in serious condition.

The 27-year-old driver was not hospitalized but charges are pending against her at this time.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
