St. Petersburg, FL (December 2, 2020) – Around 12:18 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, December 2, a car accident with injuries took place at an intersection in St. Petersburg.
According to Pinellas County officials, the accident occurred at the intersection of 54th Avenue and Haines Road when two vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damage.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to assist those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was blocked in the area for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation continues.
